A contemporary take on the farmhouse.
For project RECHT, we designed a home in Duffel that reinterprets the familiar character of a traditional farmhouse in a contemporary way.
Simple volumes and a distinctive pitched roof define the architecture. A large canopy is fully integrated into the design, creating a natural transition between inside and outside. At the same time, it provides solar shading for the living spaces and creates a generous covered terrace.
Large windows strengthen the connection with the garden and bring natural light deep into the home.
The result is a contemporary home that combines the recognisable character of a farmhouse with an open and modern way of living.
